Associate in Science - Early Childhood Education

The Associate in Science degree in Early Childhood Education provides students with a broad foundation in all areas of early childhood education and prepares students to seek employment in a childcare center, preschool program, or a home child care center. Each student is strongly encouraged to consult an advisor prior to course registration.

EEC 1100 and DEP 2001 require field experience or service learning. Check course descriptions for more information. Term 4 (15 Credit Hours)
Completing DEP 2001 , EEC 1100 , EEC 1312 , EEC 1601 , EEC 2401 , EEC 2500 , EEC 2521 , EEC 2940C , EEX 1600 , EEX 2010 and 2 of the following approved electives (EEC 2734 , EDF 1005 , EDF 2085 , or EME 2040 ) fulfills the Early Childhood Development CCC.
