The Technical Certificate in Criminal Justice Technology Specialist offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Law, Public Safety, and Security career cluster. This includes, but is not limited to, Police and Sheriff’s Patrol Officers, Correctional Officers and Jailers, and criminal justice practitioners/supervisors/managers in law enforcement agencies, correctional institutions, juvenile courts, crime laboratories, and mobile units dealing with physical evidence. This program is composed of selected college credit courses offered within the Associate in Science degree in Criminal Justice Technology.
