DEA 1805L - Clinical Practice I Lab


Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Dental Assisting Technology and Management program and completion of the program’s semester one core courses, with a C or better.
Corequisite(s): None
The student will receive closely supervised instruction in all phases of chair side dental assisting at the Pensacola State College dental hygiene clinic. The student will perform basic dental assisting duties at the beginning of the course but will continue to incorporate more advanced skills as they prove competency in various areas.
Semester Hours: 2 credit hours
