RET 2877L - Respiratory Clinic IV

Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in RET 2414C, RET 2442C, and RET 1876L
Corequisite(s): None
Allows the student to practice basic and advanced mechanical ventilator concepts for adults, pediatrics and infants. Assessment of patients with the development of respiratory care plan protocols, hemodynamic monitoring, ACLS concepts, chest tube management, physician rounds, EKG, Cath lab, airway management and, dysrhythmia recognition, neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, RET care, rehabilitation, management skills and intubation rotation.
