RET 2414C - Pulmonary Function Studies


Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in RET 1264C, RET 1350C, and RET 1875L
Corequisite(s): None
Combines lecture and lab designed to teach pulmonary function mechanics in diagnostics such as helium dilution, nitrogen washout, Plethysmography, closing capacity, single breath nitrogen and DLCO. Equipment calibration, classification of equipment and performance of screening will be discussed and performed.
