Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Medical Assisting program and completion of the program’s semester one core courses, with a C or better.

Introduces the Medical Assisting students to the communication skills and legal responsibilities of the profession. Provides a foundational understanding of anatomy and physiology concepts in both illness and wellness states.
