MEA 0530C - Pharmacology for Medical Assisting



Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Medical Assisting program and completion of the program’s semester one core courses, with a C or better. 
Corequisite(s): None
Introduces the student to the principles of pharmacology, including drug terminology; drug origins, forms, and actions; routes of administration; as well as the use of generic name drugs, trade name drugs, and categories of drugs to treat various body systems.
