MEA 0520C - Phlebotomist


Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Phlebotomy program and completion of the program’s B Session core course with a C or better. 
Corequisite(s): None
Trains participants in the basic and supporting skills of the phlebotomist. Skills include specimen collection by venipuncture and capillary puncture, basic anatomy and physiology, infection control, safety, and patient relations.
Semester Hours: 75 clock hours
Semester Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
Fees: Lab Fee
Course Designations: Post-Secondary Adult Vocational
