LIT 2090 - Introduction to Contemporary Literature


Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in ENC 1102 .
Corequisite(s): None
A survey of major writers, works, and literary trends since 1945. Introduces the major characteristics of contemporary literature. Requires basic written analysis of representative works with different countries of origin.  Includes selections from the Western canon.
Semester Hours: 3 credit hours
Semester Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer

Course Designations: College Transfer. Meets AA General Education, Literature requirement. A writing emphasis course.
