DES 1051C - Pain Management


Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Dental Hygiene program and completion of the program’s semester one, two, and three core courses with a C or better. 
 
Corequisite(s): None
Training to safely and effectively relieve pain and reduce anxiety in the dental patient. Requires the application of knowledge from pharmacology, biochemistry, physiology, and anatomy.
Semester Hours: 2 credit hours
Semester Offered: Summer
