ATE 2722 - Avian, Exotic, Small Mammals and Fish


Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Veterinary Technology program and completion of the program’s semester one and two core courses with a C or better.
Corequisite(s): None
Focuses on providing safe and effective care for birds, reptiles, amphibians, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and ferrets. Animal handling, personal safety, and OSHA standards demonstrated and practiced.
