AML 2020 - American Literature from the Civil War to the Present


Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in ENC 1102  
Corequisite(s): None
A survey of major American authors, literary works, and themes since 1865. Topics include major trends in realism, naturalism, and primitivism in the 19th and 20th centuries. Requires basic written analysis of representative works. Includes selections from the Western canon.
